Hi! I’m Scott. I live in the Boston, Massachusetts area, but part of my heart lives in Italy after having spent lots of time there. For many years I had a career as a software engineer, then for a few years as a teacher of English to people from other countries who came here to study English or moved here. Now that I’m retired, I spend my time studying Italian, singing, and guitar, and keeping busy with lots of hobbies.

Right now, my website consists mostly of satire articles I’ve written. I’ve been a fan of satire sites, especially The Onion and The Beaverton, for many years. I took a satire writing workshop from a writer at The Beaverton and got hooked on trying it myself. Now I’m always keeping an eye on current events and popular culture for ideas to write about.
